CREATION CAMPING WEEKEND RETREAT & HIKING IN CANE CREEK CANYON

One of the best ways to connect with God is to spend time in His Creation.

JOIN US: APRIL 28-30, 2017

Come join us for a weekend retreat! We will meet at McFarland Park Campground in Florence at 6pm Friday night. We will camp Friday night and Saturday night.

Tent sites are first come, first serve, and they are $14 a night. RV sites are also available.

Check with McFarland Park for pricing.

You will need to bring a tent, sleeping bags, chairs, weather-appropriate clothing, and whatever else you need to camp. You will also be "on your own" for supper Friday night, breakfast on Saturday, and lunch on Saturday, so bring what you will need to cook, as well as your own food.

We will cook as a group for supper on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. We will assign everyone items to bring for our group supper and breakfast.

In addition to camping, we will go hike at Cane Creek Canyon Preserve on Saturday. At about 11am on Saturday, we will leave the campsite and drive to the Preserve.

We will eat lunch at one of the picnic areas along the trail, so please be sure to pack a lunch. This trail is amazing! There is lots of interesting geology, as well as great views!

There are restrooms along the trail. The owners of the Preserve provide walking sticks for use while hiking.
